Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) President Eray Erdem met with the Minister of Commerce Prof. Dr. \u00d6mer Bolat and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131o\u011flu presented a sector report on pending issues, especially the residence problem of foreigners.<\/p>\n
President Erdem went to Ankara last week as well; Vice President Cevdet Y\u0131lmaz and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs presented a sector report to Antalya Deputy Mevl\u00fct \u00c7avu\u015fo\u011flu.<\/p>\n
ALTSO President Eray Erdem stated that the Pazarkule Customs Gate between Turkey and Greece, which was modernized with the “Build-Operate-Transfer” method with the support of TOBB Customs and Tourism Enterprises and Chamber-Exchanges, of which the institution is also a partner, and TOBB and UMAT GT\u0130’s \u0130psala \u0130brahim Girgin attended the opening ceremony of the TIR Park. PRESIDENT ERDEM MEETS WITH H\u0130SARCIKLIO\u011eLU<\/strong><\/p>\n ALTSO President Eray Erdem, who participated in the opening programs, also met with TOBB M. Rifat Hisarc\u0131kl\u0131o\u011flu, expressed the problems that await solutions in Alanya and presented a report.<\/p>\n President Erdem stated that the difference between them is that accommodation enterprises benefit from the 5-point corporate tax reduction, which is expected to pass through the Parliament, like exporters, and that VAT is 1 percent on food inputs and 8 percent on food sales, especially in the solution of the problems related to the restriction of residence permits to foreigners.
