A briefing seminar on ‘’Copyrights in Music Industry’’  ,which particularly concerns our region, was carried out by Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 03 2012 Thursday.

‘’TAKE THE ADVANTAGES OF SKILL 10

Within the scope of Skill 10 ‘’Specialized Vocational Course Centers’’ (UMEM) project, which is instituted for determining, training and employing the qualified labour force needed by the private sector, an introductory meeting was carried out on April 26 2012 by ALTSO.

BOEİNG 737-800 TYPE OF CORENDON COMPANY PLANE WAS SUCCESSFULLY LANDED TO ALANYA GAZIPASA AIRPORT

The dream of Alanya, Gazipasa and Anamur region has became real. Antalya based airport company Corendon, actualized its first flight trial with 198 person capacity Boeing 737-800 type of plane from Antalya. The community in region surged into airport for witnessing the flight.

EMPLOYMENT GUARENTEE FLOOR SERVICES COURSE

With the cooperation of Alanya City Council, ALTSO, OTED and Meziyet Köseoğlu Education Center, 60 hour floor services education for Tourism sector and work employment project has been finished. There was a certificate ceremony established in ALTSO on March 30 2012 for the successful 60 trainee.

REGION SEAMANSHIP UNION

Maritime sector representatives of Alanya bound to Antalya Chamber of Maritime Commerce formed a committee with the suggestion of ALTSO. The committee which was formed in order to resolve the problems of maritime sector visited ALTSO Chairman, Kerim Aydogan on 26 March 2012, Monday.

AYDOGAN STATED “WE THANK EVERYONE WHO WORKED IN THIS WORK THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PROJECTS OF ALANYA”

In the extend of the works related with golf fields in Alanya, five field in Emisbeleni, Mahmutlar, Kargicak, Okurcalar and Turkler municipalities were announced as new tourism centers. Council of Ministers Decision entered into force by announcement on Official Gazette (25.03.2012 dated and 28244 Numbered).

ALTSO REGISTERED ITS QUALITY ONCE MORE

ALTSO Chairman Kerim Aydogan was entitled with his renewed ‘Accreditation Document’ in a ceremony organized in TOBB Union Centre in Ankara at 20 March 2012. Aydogan had taken the certificate from TOBB Chairman Rifat Hisarciklioglu and TOBB Board of Management Vice Chairman and Accreditation Board Chairman Halim Mete.

ALANYA IS BETWEEN THE SHINING STARS OF MOSCOW EXPO

Alanya that has sprinted for the promotion attack before the 2012 tourism season has made a landing in Moscow after Berlin. Alanya that wish to play a more important role in Russian market is making big impressions with its 60 square meter stand other than the Stand of Tourism Ministry with the union of ALTAV, ALTSO and ALTID.

OUR CHAMBER WAS ELECTED AS THE NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION OF 2011

Our chamber was awarded in the category of the non-governmental organization of the year in the questionnaire that Alanya Private Hayat Ufuk Elementary School, Private Ufuk Elementary School and Private Ufuk Science and Anatolian High School made for the purposes of determining the ones giving the best services to Alanya in 2011.

CONGRESS TOURIMS WAS DISCUSSED
 
Antalya Congress Bureau Vice President Nizamettin Şen and Director Sinan İnan visited the ALTSO Board of Directors and gave information about the congress tourism activities in our region and country.

RECORD NUMBER OF VISITORS AT THE FAIR

Alanya Tourism and Trade Fair that is held in Antalya between the dates of December 1st to 4th with the cooperation of ALTSO and Start Fair Organisation Company reached 10 thousand number of visitors. Organisation Committee reported that the number of fairs will increase.

GENERAL SECRETARY OF ALTSO MR.ÜNLÜ TALKED ABOUT THE PROJECT IN THE MEETING

The General Secretary of ALTSO Servet ÜNLÜ attended to the meeting by the invitation made by KOSGEB on behalf of the Prime Ministry and took place as panelist in 'Eco-Entrepreneurship' panel held on December 4th,2011.

BÖLGESEL GÜÇÜN HEDEFİ DAHA ETKİN TANITIM

In order to collect all the advertisement of Antalya in one hand, Antalya Promotion Inc. Co. owned by the committee of some institutions including ALTSO, civil society organizations and the municipalities is in troduced to the public with a meeting held on December 2nd. Vice chairman of ALTSO Mevlüt Dalabasmaz also attented to the meeting.

SPURT OF "BARRIER-FREE TOURISM' FROM ALANYA CITY.

The implementation and cooperation protocol of Barrier-free Tourism City Alanya Project that has been prepared in order to implement the projects prepared devoted to improve the handicapped tourism and to provide accessibility and transportability for everybody in Alanya is signed with ceremony.

ALANYA PUSHES THE BOUNDARIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

The matured fruits of undertaken works in order to expand the higher education investments started to be collected one by one. After opening and laying foundation of faculties and ALTSO Vocational School of Higher Education, the foundation of Alanya University which has been the dream of Alanya was laid. The Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç was also at Alanya in this historical day.

THE MEDITERRANEAN UNIVERSITY TOOK ITS HISTORICAL DECISION AT ALTSO

The Mediterranean University Senate leaguing together by the host of ALTSO on November 25th,2011 took the decisionof establishment of Mediterranean University Alanya Faculty of Medicine. This historical decision was an obvious indicator that our county progesses step by step on to has a university.

ALTSO’S PROUD DAY

The opening ceremony of A.Ü.ALTSO vocational school of higher education which was built by our chamber and also the groundbreaking ceremony of the Engineering Faculty that Serhat Kayış, our member of the board will build in the name of his father Rafet Kayış were realized on 22nd September 2011. The honored guest of the ceremony was M.Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the President of TOBB (union of chamber and commodity exchanges of Turkey).
