  • Obligation to Pay Dues

Payments that our registered members are obliged to pay to our chamber

Registration Fee: It is the fee that the member is obliged to pay at the time of registration to the Chamber. The Registration Fee is determined by the Board of Directors of the Chamber and enters into force with the decision of the Chamber Assembly, provided that it complies with the lower and upper limits specified in the Law.

Annual Fee: It is the fee that the member is obliged to pay every year according to the degree of registration. The Annual Dues are determined by the Board of Directors of the Chamber and enter into force with the decision of the Chamber Assembly, provided that the lower and upper limits specified in the Law are complied with each year.

Additional Fee: It is a fee collected at the rate of eight per thousand over the commercial and corporate earnings of our members in the previous year. Ceiling Limit The annual fee cannot be more than 10 times the ceiling limit. (The amount of registration fee and annual fee cannot be less than ten percent or more than half of the gross amount of the monthly minimum wage applied for those over the age of sixteen.)

  • Obligation to Notify Status Changes

Pursuant to Article 10 of the Law on the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges numbered 5174, “Those who are obliged to register with the Chambers are obliged to notify the chambers to which they are registered, of any change in their status that is required to be registered and announced according to the Turkish Commercial Code, within one month from the date of their occurrence. The relevant chamber, which is informed about a matter that is required to be registered in the trade registry but not registered in the legal form and time, notifies the relevant trade registry office about the situations of those who do not fulfill this legal obligation, in order to make the necessary registry changes. The trade registry office is obliged to take the necessary actions upon this notification.’’

  • Suspension of Registration:

Again in the aforementioned article, “The names of those whose addresses and situations could not be determined since the two years preceding the current year and the names of the members who did not pay their dues during this period are deleted from the occupational groups and voter lists by the decision of the chamber board of directors; dues accruals are suspended. The board of directors of the chamber is responsible for the fulfillment of the provisions of this paragraph in January of each year. If the person concerned does not notify the chamber of his address and status by applying to the chamber of which he is a member, within two years following the decision of the chamber board of directors mentioned in the above paragraph, a notice is given to the trade registry office for the ex officio deletion of the trade registry record with the proposal of the chamber board of directors and the decision of the assembly. The chamber registration is deemed to be deleted as of the first day of the month following the notification. Members who report their status within this period will start to accrue dues. However, those who are in this situation cannot be re-registered in the voter lists unless they pay all their dues debts.” For this reason, our Members are required to immediately notify our Chamber of any changes in address, articles of association, structure, partners, etc. Especially if address and telephone changes are not notified, there are problems in reaching our Members.
