Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) President Eray Erdem made important statements at the consultation meeting held with tourism professionals under the chairmanship of Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer and with the participation of Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel.
Expressing that the hoteliers of Alanya are an example for our country in hosting earthquake victims, President Erdem said, “The people of Alanya and hoteliers have never lost the leadership in benevolence. We are proud and ready to do whatever is necessary. We are very pleased to welcome our earthquake victims.
We know our duties regarding both accommodation and other needs. But at least we expect support from our government in terms of energy and personnel. We are pleased to meet their needs for shelter, food and even clothing.”
A consultation meeting with tourism professionals was held under the chairmanship of Alanya District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer and hosted by ALTSO with the participation of Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel and ALTSO President Eray Erdem.
ERDEM: WE WANT ENERGY AND STAFF SUPPORT FROM OUR GOVERNMENT
At the meeting, District Governor Ürkmezer and President Yücel conveyed information about earthquake victims and what needs to be done to tourism professionals, while ALTSO President Eray Erdem asked for support from the state.
President Erdem said, “Our fellow tourism professionals are aware of their responsibilities. But we expect support from our state in terms of energy and personnel.”
Erdem: “We came together with the hotel / apart hotel operators in an extraordinary meeting under the chairmanship of our District Governor Dr. Fatih Ürkmezer and with the participation of our Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel.
After the great disaster we experienced, we talked with our hoteliers about what we could do with the state-nation solidarity for the earthquake victims we will host in Alanya.
We received the support, opinions and suggestions of our devoted business people to meet the needs of our earthquake victims in Alanya. We believe that the people of Alanya, who once again showed how charitable they are with their record donations, will do their part in the difficult period ahead.
With the awareness that the esteemed hoteliers of our Alanya do not lose the leadership in philanthropy to anyone, I hope that the decisions taken in our meeting will be beneficial for our Alanya and our country.”
