The meeting of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry was carried out on Tuesday 25th July 2017. After the opening, registration and apologies, the president of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mehmet Şahin provided the committee members with information regarding the activities of the board of directors
President Şahin started with the treacherous coup attempt which took place on 15th July and said “On the 15th July in Alanya just like everywhere else in our country, we were all united as we took our place in guarding our country. On the first anniversary of the armed coup attempt, which we would never want to remember, made by the terror organization Fetullahçı, we remember with respect those who passed and thanked those who were injured protecting our country and our people on that night. We gifted our people with the most sacred flag, the Turkish Flag. We contributed to national unification as much as we could.”
President Şahin added that they attended the press conference regarding the treacherous coup attempt of 15th July held in the Antalya chamber of commerce and industry which was organized simultaneously with Turkish union of chambers and commodity exchanges.
President Şahin stated that the 2016 meeting of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Industrial estate manufacturers society was held in the conference room of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and added “ important steps were taken regarding the industrial estate, we have followed developments up until to know and will continue to do so.”
President Şahin also provided information regarding the “there is shopping in Alanya” project and said “ we have started the “there is shopping in Alanya” project, the first of which was implemented last year and which is run with Antalya Tanıtım AŞ of which we are a partner. We wish everyone success with this project. The winners of the raffle which is to take place at the end of the project will be gifted 7 cars, 7 televisions, 7 tablets, 77 bicycles, and 777 basketballs.
President Şahin stated that he visited the Alanya Mayor Adem Murat Yücel along with the representatives of the 15th Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry career field café and restaurant management and said “we informed the Mayor that as a result of the crisis experienced over the last 2 years the business world had been badly affected and suggested that if the taxes collected were lowered to the lowest possible level it may off some relief to the business world. They informed us that they would offer us their support regarding our request in a manner suitable to current regulations.
President Şahin also provided the committee members with information regarding the meeting held between the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry members and the officials of ministry of transport, maritime affairs and communications
