The industrial estate manufacturers’ society of the Alanya chamber of commerce and industry held their general assembly meeting on Wednesday 21st June 2017 at 11:30 am.
President of Alanya chamber of commerce and industry Mehmet Şahin shared the latest information regarding the society at the meeting.
During the general assembly meeting, of which AKIN Tabaklar was chairman and Hüseyin Alataş was secretary, Alanya chamber of commerce and industry president Mehmet Şahin talked about the historical process of the society. President Şahin said “We have made serious advances since we were brought to office in June 2013 regarding the industrial estate project which has been in the planning stage for a long time but was unable to move for. We have followed the process closely up until now and will continue to do so. “
ŞAHİN: “VERY IMPORTANT PROJECT FOR OUR ALANYA”
President Şahin pointed out that the ministry of finance had given approval for the sale, and said they were following this process. President Şahin said “Thankfully we were able to keep the promises we made and fulfilled our promises within the first 6 months of us being brought to office. After we fulfilled our promises we did not say we were done. We completed important projects such as the Alanya chamber of commerce and industry vocational school and Türkler wholesale market. We had the project the wholesale market drawn free of charge. We brought this project to life by coming to an agreement with the brokers. There were 50 to 60 meetings held. We are now working with society chairman Mahmut Köse and their directors regarding the industrial estate project, we meet on a regular basis and are working well together. To increase the brand value of Alanya this work was necessary. The industrial estate is important to the brand value of Alanya. We went and explained this to Ankara, we said this project is very important to Alanya. Just like every other project which is for the benefit of our Alanya, the pride of Alanya Minister of foreign affairs Mr Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu supported our project and with his support and leadership our project was brought to life very quickly. With Gods permission we will complete this project in the near future”
President Şahin also mentioned how the manufacturing companies of Alanya had been left crammed in the city during this time of fast advancement, and said “when the manufacturing companies are left crammed in the city centre, it is the biggest factor in limiting a healthy development of the sector. Along with this the manufacturing companies being in the city centre also causes environmental problems as well, hopefully when we bring the project to life we will be able to resolve these problems.
During the last part of his speech president Şahin thank Erkan Demirci city planner and council member and the members of the society for their large contributions to the project. Those who took the floor at the meeting thanked the president of the Alanya chamber of commerce and industry Mehmet Şahin and the society directors for their hard work.
After president Şahins speech the meeting moved on to the articles of the meeting agenda the board of directors’ activity report, the board of auditors report were not accepted with a unanimous vote.
After the general assembly meeting, the society members took a group photograph in front of the Alanya chamber of commerce and industry building. President Şahin offered the society members kandil simit due to it being the night of measures, and wishes them all a holy night of measure
