Within the scope of the “Diploma From You, Job From Us” protocol signed between Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) and Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO), all students who graduate from tourism programmes will be provided with guaranteed job opportunities in Alanya every year.
A new one has been added to the cooperation agreements between Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) and Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO). Within the scope of the “Diploma From You, Work From Us” protocol, cooperation was made for the employment of graduates of ALKU tourism programmes in tourism enterprises every year. “Diploma From You, Job From Us” protocol was signed by ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Ekrem Kalan and ALTSO President Eray Erdem. ALKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Aslan, ALKU Deputy Secretary General Lect. Assist. Süleyman Ceylan, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Dr. Lecturer. Member Sertaç Sert and ALTSO Board Members Hasan Yeniacun, Mesut Ersoy, Hasan Serter, Cem Özcan and Ali Orkan took place.

Rector Kalan said that “We also care about and support cooperation with institutions and organisations representing the sector. In addition to the previous protocols, we can also include the students of the Faculty of Tourism and the students of Tourism Vocational School in this scope. In particular, while meeting the need for employment, we will also pave the way for our students to gain more qualifications in the field of tourism. We aim to add value to our country’s tourism potential. I hope that our cooperation will continue to increase in the following period. ALTSO President Eray Erdem, ‘’ We should undertake the job guarantee of our students studying in Alanya. Unfortunately, it is not easy for our colleagues to consolidate their sense of contribution towards the profession and the sector, since tourism is active for 6-7 months of the year and passive for the remaining 5-6 months. We find it important to develop and reinforce this sense of belonging. That is why this protocol is valuable. This protocol may lead to an increase in the selection of tourism faculties.
