ERDEM: WE ORGANISE TRAINING IN LINE WITH THE DEMANDS FROM THE SECTORS
ALTSO, which aims to contribute to the professional development of its members and our people and has carried out many trainings in this context, has started free diamond training for jewellers.
Diamond training organised in cooperation with Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and JTR (Jewellery Technology Research Centre) has started. 4 groups of ALTSO members operating in the jewellery sector participate in the trainings to be held on different dates.
ALTSO President Eray Erdem, who visited the training held in ALTSO Training Hall and met with the trainees, emphasised the importance of vocational training.
President Erdem stated that they organise training in line with the demand from each sector and said that they will continue such trainings in the coming period.
President Erdem said, “We visited the diamond training course that we organized for jewelers free of charge. We wished success to our trainees and received their opinions and suggestions. Registrations for our new diamond education classes are also continuing. Our members who want to receive diamond training free of charge can apply to our ALTSO Training Branch.’’
Geological Engineer Deniz Tanju Yılmaz, who gave the diamond training, gave information about the content of the training. Yılmaz, “In our training, both theoretical and practical work will be done on how to distinguish synthetic diamonds and imitations. Determination of the 4C properties of the diamond grading system loupe and professional diamond examination techniques with microscope will be transferred to the participants. In order to improve our experience in the sector, we recommend especially company owners and company managers to take this training.”
