Değerli Turizm Sektörü İlgilileri,

2010 yılında  Hollanda’da bulunan Avrupa Ekolojik ve Agro Turizm Merkezi (ECEAT) tarafından hazırlanan ve odamızın ortağı olduğu bir Eko-İnovasyon projesi olan INTOUR Projesi faaliyetleri devam etmektedir. 8 ülkeden 9 kuruluşun  ortak olarak görev aldığı proje için ilçemiz, Türkiye’deki uygulama bölgesi olarak seçilmiş, odamız bu uygulamaların koordinasyonunu yürütmek üzere projede ortak olarak yer almıştır. Proje, kapsamında devam eden faaliyetler arasında, Sürdürülebilir Turizm ilkelerini sağlamak için kullanılan “Travelife Sürdürülebilirlik Sistemi” ile ilgili 28-29 Mart 2012 tarihlerinde bir eğitim programı düzenlenmektedir.

Çok önemli bir turizm destinasyonu olan bölgemizde Travelife Sürdürülebilirlik Sistemi’ni tanıtmak, turizmde sürdürülebilirlik konusunda bir kapasite yaratmak ve sisteme yönelik denetçi yetiştirmek amacıyla düzenlenen eğitime kısıtlı sayıda katılımcı kabul edilecektir. Katılım Bedeli 200 € olup, eğitim dili İngilizce olacaktır. Eğitime katılmak isteyen kişiler sürdürülebilirlik, denetim, turizm ve seyahat endüstrisi konularında tecrübelerini anlatan özgeçmiş ve eğitime katılma sebeplerini anlatan bir başvuru dilekçesini Travelife’a  rocco@travelife.org adresinden mail atarak başvurabilirler.

Invitation:  Travelife Auditor training in Alanya at the end of March 2012! The Travelife Sustainability System is delighted to invite you to an event in Alanya, Turkey on the 28th and 29th of March 2012. Travelife is the internationally recognised and industry supported certification scheme of choice. We are holding a two day workshop to train a limited number of auditors and to build local capacity in one of the most important tourism destinations. This training is supported by the European Commission, ABTA – The Travel Association, ALTSO – the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TRIADA Consultancy. Attendees will achieve an internationally recognised sustainability qualification and join a global network of sustainability experts (tour operators, hotels, trade associations, auditors). By becoming a Travelife auditor you will help shaping a more sustainable tourism industry in Turkey and around the globe. Travelife Auditor training in Alanya at the end of March 2012 – Details Programm:
The two day course will qualify attendees to become a Travelife auditor and will cover an in-depth training in sustainability in the accommodation sector, the Travelife audit processes, procedures and governance and the Travelife check-list and criteria. The two day course also includes a 3 to 4 hour practical element where attendees will have the opportunity to apply their learning and the Travelife check-list to a ‘real life’ setting at a nearby Hotel. Cost:
The training course is charged at a fee of €200 per person and includes: – 2 full day training course (as outlined above)
– Travelife training material during the training and in advance
– Practical application of learning and criteria at a Hotel in the region
– Refreshments during the training course
– Participation in the Travelife auditor exam
– Travelife auditor ID card and Travelife auditor certificate after successful completion of the exam and additional requirements Requirements:
To maintain the high standard of Travelife audits we require trained auditors to carry out the following activities before we allow them to audit on their own and use their Travelife auditor ID card:
– To shadow a minimum of one audit with a Travelife auditor
– To carry out a minimum of one supervised audit (supervised by Travelife or a trained Travelife auditor)
– Attendance of the 2 day training (as above)
– Successful completion of the Travelife auditor exam (as above) Travelife prides itself in running highly professional trainings and therefore ask for the attendees to meet the following additional requirements:
– Please send an email to Travelife: rocco@travelife.org prior to the training briefly explaining the reason why you wish to attend the training
– Please send a CV illustrating your experience in sustainability, auditing, the travel and tourism industry etc.
– Good command in English
– Dress code: business casual
